Athens Farmers Market - Athens, Ohio

Interested in performing at Athens Farmers Market?

These are our simple guidelines:

-Interested musicians must make arrangements with the Market Manager on duty the day they wish to perform.  It is on a first come, first served basis, with some arriving as early as 8 am to reserve a spot.  Groups of five or more performers may reserve a spot a day in advance by contacting the Market Manager at parker@frognet.net.

-Performances may include up to but not more than three performers at at time. Special arrangements must be made in advance for larger performances.

-Please remain in your designated performance area throughout the Market day.

-Sale of recorded music is prohibited (consider displaying an advertisement instead).

-Please be respectful of the vendors and customers around you.  Do not use amplification during your performance and adjust your volume accordingly.

-You may accept freewill donations for your performance; we suggest that you put out a donation jar.

Though our Market is limited in performance space, we can accomodate small-scale events in or around the Market Cafe. We have hosted theatre troupes performing Hamlet, a flute ensemble playing Brahms and cooking contests with many happy samplers.

If you would like to inquire about hosting an event at the Athens Farmers Market, contact Market Manager Kip Parker.
